Malta Arms and Militaria Society (MAMS)

MAMS is THE club for dedicated private collectors, researchers and conservators of historical arms and militaria.

MAMS, originally the Arms, Armour & Militaria Society (AAMS) set up on 12 June 1985, is what later gave birth to the Association of Maltese Arms Collectors & Shooters (AMACS) in 2004. Against all odds, these organisations brought about the tremendous changes in Maltese legislation, which since 2006 has made it possible for Maltese target shooters and arms collectors to pursue their passion within a strict legal framework.

The Club’s mission is to disseminate knowledge and encourage the public to appreciate and conserve our historical heritage.
