Malta Licence B Shooting Club (MLBSC)

Malta Licence B Shooting Club

The MLASC covers all shooting disciplines using arms requiring a Police Target Shooter Licence B, such as shotguns, muzzle-loaders and airguns.

The club was recently reformed through the amalgamation of three clubs affiliated with AMACS, which were all originally founded on 10 July 2004 as the Malta Clay Pigeon Shooting Club (MCPSC), the Malta Muzzleoader Shooting Club (MMSC) and the Malta Airgun Shooting Club (MASC). On 23 October 2024, all three clubs voted to merge into one club covering all three disciplines, the Malta Licence B Shooting Club (MLBSC), as part of a restructuring process proposed by AMACS to streamline the shooting disciplines falling under its remit, so that the affiliate clubs’ function corresponds with the licences issued by the Malta Police Force.
