October Bullseye Competition
The predicted rain showers did not put off our shooters and we had a good turnout for the fifth bullseye shooting competition of 2009. We were restricted by the fact that the AFM are not currently allowing the use of .22lr calibre, which meant that we had to forego the rimfire section of the shoot. Nevertheless, we made up for this by increasing the number of rounds to be fired in the centrefire category. The higher scores were as follows:
1st Place: Michael Risiott with 281 points (and the highest string of shots of 80 out of a possible 100) – Well done Mike!
2nd Place: Clive Brockdorff with 234 points
3rd Place: Anthony Mifsud with 191 points
4th place: Charles Wallbank with 177 points
