JOINING AMACS IN 2025

 

AMACS welcomes membership applications by persons who have a genuine interest in the collection of firearms and/or target shooting sports and who are committed to full compliance with the arms law and regulations of Malta. The membership and police licence application process is clearly explained below in five easy steps:

1. Download the 2025 membership application form, print it and fill it in

2. Download the Police Health Certification Form

3. Apply for a Malta Police Good Conduct Certificate

4. When you receive the good conduct certificate visit your medical doctor and present all three documents to him so that he may fill in and sign the AMACS application form and the health certificate.

5. Call the AMACS office on 77411600 to fix an appointment for an interview. You must bring all three documents with you. If all goes well, a membership account will be set up in our online system once you pay your enrolment and membership fees. You may also book your attendance in one of our specialist courses designed to prepare you to apply for one or more police firearm licences.

Please note that if you are already in possession of a current police firearms licence and you are joining AMACS for the first time, simply submit a copy of that licence instead of a police good conduct certificate.

The AMACS office is open every Wednesday from 14:00h to 20:00h.
