AMACS FIREARMS COURSE SCHEDULE (MAY TO JULY 2024)
We are pleased to announce the schedule of professionally run AMACS-TIER1 courses for the next three months. If you would like to apply for a Target Shooter Licence A/B and want to be sure that you are thoroughly prepared for the Weapons Board interview, look no further.

The first two sessions of the courses are held at the AMACS office in Tigne’ Point starting at 19:00hrs on Monday and Tuesday. The third session is held at Victoria Range on Wednesday afternoon, followed by an assessment. Successful candidates are presented with their Certificates / Letters of Recommendation at the AMACS office that same evening after 20:00hrs.
If you are already an AMACS member, all you would need to do is call us on 7741 1600 or email info@amacs-malta.org to book your attendance and follow up with payment.
If you are not yet an AMACS member, simply follow this process:
- Download the 2024 membership application form and fill it in.
- Ask your medical doctor to endorse the form and issue a certificate*.
- Apply for a Police Good Conduct certificate.
- Visit the AMACS office and hand in the above listed documents to sign up.
- Book the course that you would like to attend.
*Note: the wording for the certificate should confirm that the doctor has examined you and confirms that you are medically and physically fit to possess and use firearms at the range.
